Coming from an Automotive background, involved in the car scene, as well as active member of many forums. 

I noticed on older vehicles such as the VW Caddy, the lighting was really showing its age when compared against modern technologies, there was a lack products & kits aimed at these types of cars. 

I started to develop products and kits for Caddys which proved ever so popular, my aim to keep prices low to give back to the caddy community. 

Spiralling from there, having requests for many vehicles, sales kept on coming, which brings us to the present, SMD Automotive online was created.
